The “Care 4 Youth” project is a cooperation project, funded through the Erasmus+ programme, project no. 2025-1-RO01-KA210-YOU-000350804, and is implemented in partnership with Eskişehir Sosyal İnovasyon ve Gelişim Derneği from Turkey and To Hamogelo Tou Paidiou from Greece.

The concrete objectives of the project are:

  • The development of adaptive coping skills for 20 young people in the child protection system from each partner country, to support better management of stress, emotions, and everyday life situations.
  • The development of socio-emotional competences of participating young people and the promotion of inclusion through experiential activities.
  • The improvement of competences for 12 youth workers in the use of experiential methods and the development of a practical activity guide for professionals.

    Throughout 2026, the following activities will be carried out within the project:

  • A transnational meeting between partner organizations, to be held in March in Romania, with the aim of strengthening the project team, finalizing working procedures, coordination mechanisms, reporting procedures, and the tools to be used throughout implementation;
  • A workshop for experience sharing and good practice exchange in working with groups of young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, addressed to youth workers from the implementation team, to be held in Turkey;
  • The creation and implementation of the programme addressed to young people living in family-type residential care homes, starting in April with the design and development of activities and continuing with their implementation between June and August 2026. After the implementation phase, an exhibition of young people’s works created during the activities will be organized, as well as an activity guide for the development of adaptive coping skills, which will be made freely available to professionals in the field;
  • A second transnational meeting in Greece, aimed at presenting the results of the implemented programme, evaluating its impact, and establishing dissemination methods.
  • The expected results include the creation and implementation of a programme for the development of coping strategies for 60 young people from the three partner organizations, the development of an activity guide for specialists, and the organization of a workshop for 12 youth workers for experience exchange and learning new experiential methods for working with groups of young people.
